Manufacturer Warranty

Every product we sell is brand new, genuine and covered by the manufacturer’s warranty (typically 12–24 months, depending on the brand). Warranty details are provided with your product and on the manufacturer’s website.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If an item arrives damaged or develops a fault, we will put it right quickly. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery for transit damage, or at any time within the warranty period for a fault.

  • Free replacement for items that arrive damaged or dead-on-arrival.
  • Repair, replacement or refund for warranty faults, in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
  • We arrange free collection of faulty items — you pay nothing.

What the warranty covers

Manufacturer warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Typical periods include around 12–24 months for strollers and car seats and up to several years on some nursery furniture frames — the exact term and terms are set by each brand and supplied with your product.

What is not covered

Warranties generally do not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, failure to follow the manufacturer’s care and fitting instructions, or unauthorised modification. These exclusions do not affect your statutory rights for goods that are faulty or not as described.

Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015

Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If an item is faulty: within 30 days you can claim a full refund; within 6 months we will repair or replace it (or refund if that is not possible); and faults that appear later may still be covered. We will always work with you and the manufacturer to put things right.

Registering your warranty

Some brands offer an extended warranty if you register your product on their website — we recommend doing this where available, and keeping your order confirmation as proof of purchase.

To make a claim, email welcome@millingtonbaby.co.uk with your order number and a photo or description of the issue, and we will guide you through the next steps.

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
